Saturday Pre-orders – Get started with Kill Team

This week, the starter set for Kill Team (and its awesome flatpack MDF terrain) is available for pre-order alongside more kill teams ready to stalk behind enemy lines. Heroes for Warhammer 40,000, and a set of tales from Black Library are also on the radar.

Kill Team: Starter Set

Containing two kill teams, a clever set of full-colour MDF terrain, and everything else you need to tackle the new edition of the game, the Kill Team: Starter Set is perfect for beginners and returning commanders. The Angels of Death and Plague Marine kill teams both feature seven push-fit miniatures, each one a unique and highly-detailed operative. 

A 64-page Starter Handbook covers the background of the setting and the kill teams in the box, followed by tutorials and scenarios to prime you on the game. The MDF terrain builds two larger structures and eight smaller ones, and packs down flat for easy storage. All this is accompanied by a double-sided game board, and a sheet containing the tokens and range rulers you need to mark and measure your actions during the game.*

Kill Team: Kasrkin

Elite special forces, pulled from the Cadian ranks, the Kasrkin are experienced in undertaking critical operations, and combine their iron-clad discipline with some of the best equipment available for the Astra Millitarum.

Kill Team: Chaos Cult Datacards

Dire living conditions and the grim reality of Imperial rule across a vast number of planets create fertile ground for the influence of the Ruinous Powers to take root. 

The resulting Chaos Cults that spring up on these planets ferment further rebellions, conducting blasphemous rituals to strengthen their hold over the planet. Chaos Lord

Each Chaos Lord is a terrifying individual with power and skill amassed over many thousands of years, their mastery of combat displayed via gruesome trophy racks that feature the skulls of formidable warriors they have slain in single combat. This is the standalone release of this multipart miniature, and it comes with a range of weapon and cosmetic options so you can forge your own Chaos Lord.


Chaos Lord with Jump Pack

The sight of a Chaos Lord with Jump Pack soaring into combat ahead of a pack of Raptors is enough to rout the most steadfast of warriors, as the ferocity and relentless nature of these skilled hunters is infamous. This is the standalone release of this multipart miniature, and it comes with a range of weapon and cosmetic options so you can create your own soaring hunter.

Inquisitor Coteaz

Few Inquisitors have carved as great a reputation for themselves as Inquisitor Torquemada Coteaz. His long life is studded with glorious victories against Chaos, and he is an exemplar of the Ordo Malleus. This standalone release features both Coteaz, armed with his Nemesis daemon hammer, and his Glovodan Psyber-eagle familiar.
