Lieutenant Titus and Abaddon the Despoiler have both been transformed from art and miniatures into towering 1:6-scale statues by our friends at Wētā Workshop, and a third glorious statue has been revealed today at the World Championships of Warhammer – it’s Celestine the Living Saint.
Her wings spread wide, the Hieromartyr of the Palatine Crusade descends through the ruins of a shattered chapel on the base of the sculpture, bringing the holy light of the Emperor to your shelf. Her trailing parchment is surrounded by fluttering doves, which complete the image of this holy icon brought to life.
Celestine is armed as ever with the Ardent Blade, a relic weapon that unleashes jets of superheated flame and yet does not incinerate the wreaths of flowers with which it is always decorated. Like previous sculptures from Wētā, Celestine is supplied hand-painted in her resplendent golden armour.
Saint Celestine is available to pre-order right now from the Wētā Workshop store – but she is strictly limited to just 850 copies.
That’s not all, however, as a second set of 1:6 replica helmets have arrived.
This time the Blood Angels and Space Wolves get the Wētā treatment, alongside the Aeldari Aspect Warriors of the Striking Scorpions. Each helmet is hand-painted, and comes with an accompanying display stand.
These collector’s pieces are all available to pre-order right now from the Wētā Workshop store. Skragrott the Loonking is on his way too – and stay tuned for more information on future releases.
