The coming of spring is generally regarded as a good thing, as the winter chill departs and crops begin to grow. For those that dwell on the northern coastline of the Empire, however, it’s less fun: it means the return of the raiders from Norsca. Many terrible champions have reaved the Sea of Claws over the century, but Frydaal The Chainmaker is one of the most bloodthirsty in many years.
Even before she took her first steps on the Path to Glory, Frydaal was a cruel warrior who delighted in letting injured survivors flee to nearby towns and villages, spreading her legend and sowing fear across the lands. She campaigned across the Shadowlands, accruing many confident victories with her warband, and earning profane gifts from the Dark Gods.
Her long campaign in the Realm of Chaos caused great horns to sprout from her skull*, and she eventually became so powerful that a single blow from her flail – named Storm’s Fury – could shatter bones and crumple armour.
Now, with an army of bloodthirsty marauders behind her, Frydaal has returned to the coast, quashing weak-willed Norscan chieftains along the way to amass a sizable fleet. She continues to raid the northern coast of the Empire, taking treasure and prisoners. She remains a Peerless Raider, and even the greatest defences of the Empire struggle to predict and repel her rapid assaults.

Frydaal has raided the coastlines of the Empire and Kislev for many seasons and is second to none when it comes to orchestrating lightning-fast strikes along the Old World's northern shores.
0-1 unit of Chaos Marauders or Marauder Horsemen in the same muster list as Frydaal may have the Ambushers special rule for free. In addition, if Frydaal is your General, you may apply a +1 or -1 modifier to the result when rolling to determine if she or any unit of Chaos Marauders, Marauder Horsemen, Marauder Tribe Huscarls or Marauder Tribe
Berserkers with the Ambushers special rule that is currently held in reserve arrives this turn as reinforcements or is delayed.
