Warhammer Events – Set your sight on tournaments in April

Hopefully you’ve had a great Christmas and are enjoying a relaxing Boxing Day. Remember, Galen & Doralia: Outnumbered is available in Warhammer stores right now.

Speaking of special miniatures, next year’s Warhammer World Anniversary falls on the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of March, and we’ll have a whole heap of brilliant activities for you to build, paint, and even to play with. Because it’s going to be extremely popular, this will be a ticketed event – and these will be available alongside all of this month’s events.

On top of that, here’s our preview of April's events at Warhammer World.

Return to the war-torn battlefields of the 31st Millennium with Tides of War, a one-day Warhammer: The Horus Heresy event which will involve a 1,500-point army in three games over one day. There are awards for favourite game, favourite army, and a separate painting prize.

This event takes place on Thursday the 3rd of April 2025.

Take up arms with a friend and prepare to battle a host of likeminded duos in the Warhammer 40,000 Throne of Skulls Doubles tournament. You’ll test your skills in five games across two days, fighting for top places as well as awards for painting and sportsmanship with other enthusiastic players.

This event takes place on the weekend of the 12th and 13th of April 2025.

Test your wits in the Volkus and Bheta-Decima Kill Zones in Covert Operations, a one-day Kill Team event where you’ll craft a team of dedicated specialists and fight it out across three exciting games. You’ll be battling for a selection of awards, and you’ll also have the chance to submit your team for the painting competition over lunch.

This event takes place on Friday the 25th of April 2025.

Press your pennants, shod your cavalry, and prepare for war with the Warhammer: The Old World Grand Tournament. You’ll muster a 2,000-point army and tackle five battles over two days, testing your prowess as a rank-and-flank general. There will be awards for best placing generals, favourite army, favourite opponent, and a judge voted best painted army – so make sure your whole force is looking slick.

This event takes place on the weekend of the 26th and 27th of April 2025.

Further details for all of these events will be available on our Eventbrite page, and tickets will be on sale from Monday the 6th of January.
