The next edition of White Dwarf is just as packed with Warhammer goodness as ever, but this month the focus is squarely on the small scale, with a full 40 pages dedicated to Kill Team and Warcry.

Then there’s all the usual features you’ve come to expect, including a Necron tomb worlds tile campaign for Warhammer 40,000, a new Flashpoint for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and a gigantic Horus Heresy battle report deciding the fate of the Death Guard homeworld, Barbarus.

For Kill Team, there’s more coverage of the studio campaign, a designer’s commentary on the upcoming Into the Dark expansion, and a look at some stunning kill teams cooked up by enthusiastic, and skilled, gamers.  Warcry meanwhile earns the first installment of a new column exploring the fantastic new edition, including a long look at the Heart of Ghur launch box.

At the extreme end of small scale gaming there’s also a fantastic gallery of Warhammer Underworlds warbands collected, converted and painted by hobbyists from around the world to inspire you.

Warhammer 40,000 isn’t left out – there’s an entirely new mini-campaign set on a Necron tomb world, including a cardboard insert with 30 double-sided tiles. It’s designed to complement Flashpoint: Nephilim, as your armies battle each other – and the tomb world’s rapidly awakening defences.

There are unique Theatres of War, Stratagems, and other special rules for playing in different sectors, and the campaign can scale to seven or more players. Also included is a whole bevy of background information to the campaign in the Nephilim sector.

Meanwhile, in Warhammer Age of Sigmar, there’s a Flashpoint happening in Rhondol, another predatory continent of Ghur. Here, Orruk Warclans are massing for a short but bloody campaign against the beleaguered forces of the Stormcast Eternals.

Meanwhile, in the Age of Darkness, there’s a whopping 18,000-point battle report deciding the fate of Barbarus. Six players have built and painted a 3,000-point army for this purpose, playing a custom multiplayer scenario. Rules for multiplayer games of your own are included as part of this epic clash!

There’s also Grombrindal fiction from David Guymer, plus all the regular features that you’ve come to expect. This issue will be up for pre-order this weekend.
