Several Primarchs from the Horus Heresy era have already joined the range of highly detailed JOYTOY action figures, and it’s time for another to join them. Rogal Dorn and Warmaster Horus are already lording over your shelves, so who could the newcomer be?
It’s Magnus the Red, standing 26.2cm tall to the tip of his horns (that’s taller even than Horus) and dripping with arcane finery. Every detail from his phenomenal resin miniature has been faithfully recreated, down to the swirling magical effects that can be attached shooting from his hands or wrapping around his giant Blade of Ahn-nunurta.
It’s the perfect figure to be flanked by some luminary subordinates, and three are joining the battle alongside him.
Magistus Amon served as his Primarch’s equerry throughout the Great Crusade and is even rumoured to have been the young Magnus’ tutor before his reunion with the Emperor, but despite his great fame he remained a mysterious and solitary figure.
He’s joined by a figure who’ll be familiar to those scouting out this week’s pre-orders – Azhek Ahriman, the first and last Chief Librarian of the Thousand Sons, who’ll one day go on to doom his entire Legion with his cursed Rubric. This incarnation finds him in his classic Heresy-era raiment bedecked in robes and sigils.
Lastly, a Praetor of the XV Legion teleports into action clad in highly ornate Terminator armour. The shiny red plate is wrapped in a green cloak and Prosperan icons, and the figure comes with a combi-bolter and unique Achaean power weapon.
