The Nighthaunt are incorporeal spirits from Shyish, the Realm of Death. They are driven to murder by their bitter hatred for the living. Punished for their crimes in life with eternal servitude to the Great Necromancer, Nagash, they can only hope to find a flicker of peace in death through the suffering of the living.
