Sunday Preview – Prepare to enter the Hive

Update 27th May: An earlier version of this article said that the premium edition of Hive would be available in selected Warhammer stores. This is no longer the case, and it will be available as a print-on-demand for a limited time on warhammer.com.

It’s the Sunday Preview – the place where we reveal all the things coming up for pre-order next week. But today it’s… pretty quiet around here.

In fact, there are almost no new goodies up for pre-order next week. It’s almost like it’s the calm before a storm. In the meantime, break out your brushes and get painting!

HIVE (Premium Edition)

Our headline pre-order next weekend is the premium edition of Dan Abnett’s HIVE.

It’s the same tale of intrigue, treachery and rebellion as the previously released hardback, but the special edition comes in a decorative slipcase containing both volumes, with unique cover artwork, blood-red page edges and red ribbon bookmarks.*

The HIVE special edition will be available on a print-on-demand basis on Warhammer.com for a limited time only.

You will be able to order your copies from Saturday 30 May until 8am UK-time on Friday 5 June, and you’ll be guaranteed a copy.

This week on Warhammer+

Take to the skies in the action-packed new animation series Aeronautica Imperialis, which kicks off on Warhammer TV this week.

While the Imperium and Aeldari dogfight, the rest of the new Warhammer TV episodes have a distinct Armageddon flavour. Battle Report hosts its first game of the new edition of Warhammer 40,000, Black Library Book Club sits down to read Ghazghkull Thraka: The Prophet of the Waaagh!, and Brainboyz tickles the trivia centres and sees what Armageddon knowledge falls out.

Here on Warhammer Community, we’ll be watching the first games of the new edition of Warhammer 40,000, and our Faction Focus series reaches the home stretch – with Genestealer Cults tomorrow through to Necrons at the end of the week.

* Note that unlike the previously announced version, this premium edition will not be individually numbered or signed by the author.
